Embracing a New Chapter: Systemic Solutions Coaching

After two decades of designing and leading transformative family programming within top-tier therapeutic and educational settings, I’m stepping fully into a new chapter—one rooted in clarity, connection, and systemic change.

I’m proud to announce that Systemic Solutions Coaching is now my full-time work.

This practice began as a quiet extension of my clinical work—an ethical way to continue supporting families and professionals who sought ongoing partnership after treatment. But it quickly became something more. A home for deeper, long-term work. A bridge between therapeutic care and sustainable thriving. And now, a platform for expanding services across families, schools, and mission-driven organizations.

Why Now

Over the years, I’ve seen how systemic clarity—not just more structure or effort—is what actually helps families and teams move forward. Real change doesn’t come from short-term fixes or individual heroics. It comes from understanding the patterns underneath—and shifting them with intention.

As demand for this kind of work grew, so did the possibilities: I began consulting with programs to design sustainable family systems, training staff teams, and presenting my framework for thriving to business owners committed to investing in the lives of their employees.

It became clear: this wasn’t a side project. It was a calling.

The Path That Led Here

My work began in 2004, studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Appalachian State and earning a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech. I’ve worked in community mental health, wilderness therapy, and residential treatment—each chapter sharpening my understanding of systems, relationships, and growth.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to shape clinical programs where student and parent experiences are truly aligned—designed not just to meet requirements, but to create systemic change. Again and again, I’ve seen that real transformation doesn’t happen when services are offered in isolation or to check a box. It happens when the entire system is engaged with clarity, purpose, and a commitment to shared growth.

What We’re Building

Systemic Solutions Coaching offers:

  • Coaching – Individual, family, and leadership coaching to create clarity and momentum through transitions, treatment, or growth.

  • Retreats – Experiential, values-based retreats that reset connection and realign intention—for families or staff teams.

  • Parent Workshops – Insightful, actionable workshops for parents—offered independently or alongside schools and programs.

  • Program Consulting & Staff Training – Strategic support for programs ready to strengthen their culture, curriculum, and systemic alignment.

  • Leadership Training – Workshops and intensives that help business leaders navigate complexity with emotional regulation, systemic awareness, and aligned action.

The Work That Matters

I often think back to families navigating their young adult children’s transitions—where progress didn’t come from more rules, but from parents increasing emotional tolerance and young adults experiencing safe autonomy. Those relational shifts—slow, messy, deeply meaningful—are at the heart of what I do.

Because thriving doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built, system by system, in moments of clarity and connection.

Let’s Build What’s Next, Together

To those I’ve worked with in the past—thank you. You’ve shaped this path and made this next chapter possible.

To those I haven’t met yet—if you’re navigating transition, craving clarity, or seeking systems that truly support growth, I’d love to connect.
